What can I do with my 'account balance'?

Calling plans are deducted monthly which can be used to upgrade to other plans, calls made 'By the minute' which fall outside of their calling plan, and the purchase of additional services. Think of the recharge amount as your balance, with all plans, services, and additional minutes being deducted from it.

What are the standard flat rate plan rates?

What about domestic US calls and toll free numbers?

You can use our service to call domestically as well as for toll-free numbers. 1-800, 1-888 and 1-877 numbers are free. Other domestic calls are charged the same rate as calling from outside of the country. Our lines are routed over the Internet and are therefore considered international. It does not matter from where you dial--only TO where you dial. Please note that you also dial the same way, even if you are calling domestically. (Country code + area code [drop first zero] + local number.)

What are iConnectHere's system requirements?

· Pentium 75 Mhz or higher PC · Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 or higher

What are my payment options for the prepaid plan?

For the prepaid plan, customers can pay by credit card, or send in a check or money order (address will be provided when you register).

Is free trial available?

Our software is FREE to download, and currently we are offering a 15 minute trial period where you can place calls to the US for the first 7 days upon signup. To try dialing all other numbers, please sign up for a calling plan with iConnectHere or pay 'By the Minute'. We recommend starting with our one-time payment (Manual Recharge) option.

How do I use this product under a firewall?

Please ask your system administrator to make sure the following ports are open:

Can I call mobile/cell phones?

Currently you can use our PC-to-Phone system to call cellular phones. There is no extra charge to call cellular phones except when calling to countries that specify their cell phone rates by area code. Therefore, calling these mobile area codes will initiate that specific rate, which is listed on our site. Mobile phones are charged the rate of the country to which you dial. Even if we have a special offer price for a certain city within that country, the rate is the same as for outside of that particular city.

Are the calling cards billed monthly?

The cost of the plan is billed at the time that the credit card is recharged. If a customer signs up for , they are immediately debited the cost of their monthly plan, and the remaining amount is their 'account balance'.

Are there any fees or taxes?

There are no fees, taxes, surcharges, connect fees, per-call charges, or any other hidden costs. Just the per minute price of the call deducted from the prepaid balance, or the minutes as they are a part of the flat-rate promotion.

What if I receive the an Error message 'Account is temporarily unavailable'?

If you have received a message that your account is temporarily unavailable, we recommend that you wait a few minutes before attempting to use your acount again.

If the problem persists, please select 'Ask a question' from the navigation bar at the top of your screen. Be sure to include your UserID and an explanation of the problem, including the error message.

How are funds addes to my account?

You can now choose to add funds to your iConnectHere account through the intreactive members center or via telephone.

To add funds to your account through the intereactive members center, please select 'Add Funds' from the right hand side of the navigation bar.

If you would like to update your personal or credit card information please select 'My Account' from the top navigation bar.

Payment takes the form of pre-payments from your international credit card. You can choose between increments of $10, $25, $50. The increment you choose (plus any promotional bonus where applicable) becomes your starting balance, all usage charges or monthly service charge is deducted from that balance.

Please note that upon registration we activate $6 of your charge, not including calling plan charges.

Following the initial 30 hour period and after the charge has been authorized by our Billing Department, the remainder of the charge is released. This security procedure is applicable to first charges only.

Please understand that the purpose of this procedure is to protect our customers from fraudulent use of their credit cards.

For your convenience you can now Add Funds to your iConnectHere account by phone.

Just follow these simple instructions:
-Dial 1-800-428-4316 to enter the system as you normally would to make a phone-to-phone call.
-Enter your User ID and Password.
-Listen to all the options; you will be given a new option to Add Funds.
-Dial 2# to Add Funds.
Then just follow the prompts. You can either continue by dialing 1# or opt not to Add Funds by dialing 9#.

If you choose to continue, you will be able to Add Funds in one of several increments between $10 and $50. You will only be able to Add Funds via the phone if it is not your first charge and you have a valid credit card registered to your account.

If you are auto-recharge, adding funds in this way will count as your new recharge.

All charges are in US dollars per minute. Contact your credit card company regarding currency exchange policies. Your credit card will be charged the equivalent in your country's currency.

What is the North American Plan?

After you have completed the 400 minutes, you will be charged 3.9 cents per minute for your calls to the US and Canada.

You can register for this plan when you sign up with us. Or, if you are already a member, simply select on 'Phone' and then 'Phone Settings' from the top navigation bar. You will then see an option for the North American Plan.

To remain on the North American Plan, your account must be on an automatic recharge, which means that your account will automatically charge when your balance falls below $2.50.

This plan also allows you to make Calling Card calls at our regular Calling Card per-minute rates.

How can I improve the sound quality ?

-Speak with a headset instead of a microphone.
-If you are using a microphone, hold it away from the speakers to avoid having the sound from your speakers recirculate into your microphone.
-Lower the volume on your speakers.
-Check with your sound card manufacturer to be sure you are using the latest drivers.
-Use a direct phone jack. A split line or extension cord between your phone jack and computer can enhance the echo.

2) After dialing the access number, enter your PIN (8-digit UserID + your 4-digit Password) at the voice prompt.

3) At the second voice prompt, enter the phone number that you are calling, and then the pound key (#).

When dialing, make sure to dial: country code + area code (drop first zero)* + local number + the number

EXAMPLES: 442072221234 (to UK) 12125553456 (to US) 12025553456 (to US)

4) Please note: DO NOT dial any prefix (e.g., 011) before the country code.

*For dialing to Moscow, dial 7095, then the local number.
