Step 1 : Buy a Prepaid Card

Step 2 : Get the Card Activated

Now, please remember this – the card does not have any value till it is activated. This means that you will not be able to make any calls till you get the card activated. Step 3 : Dial the Toll free number and enter the PIN Number

AT&T cuts an extra 6 minutes of talk time from your calling card if you make calls from a payphone. So this can prove to be very expensive if you make short calls.
